The American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) released a statement in response to continued discussion on the validity of the results of a specific clinical trial. AATS is calling for the full release of the clinical data, so surgeons and patients can make informed choices.

Pressure grows on German regulators and universities to make clinical trial results public – TranspariMED
A recent report by TranspariMED and BUKO Pharma-Kampagne showed that some German universities failed to properly report clinical trial results. After widespread media coverage the report generated, German regulatory and medical bodies are pressuring the universities to make clinical trial results public.

ClinicalTrials.gov modernization RFI – ClinicalTrials.gov
The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has issued a request for information (RFI) as part of its multi-year modernization initiative for ClinicalTrials.gov. Additionally, interested individuals can join a webinar on January 22 to learn more about the initiative.
