Denmark to introduce sanctions for non-reporting of clinical trial results – TranspariMED
In a guest blog for TranspariMED, Lene Grejs Petersen of the Danish Medicines Agency (DKMA) explains that if sponsors fail to report clinical trial results in Denmark, they can face fines or prison sentences. These measures come after the agency made formal warnings to sponsors in the fall of 2019.

Danish regulator eyes sanctions-including prison time-against trial sponsors that fail to post results—STAT
DKMA is threatening to pursue sanctions, including fines and prison sentences of up to four months, against drug companies and universities that fail to publish their study results in a European database. Most trial results have not been posted since a reminder was published in 2019.
